EKO Milk Calibration Guide for Ultra & Ultra Pro

This guide helps milk analyzer dealers, service technicians and dairy labs prepare a calibration job in EKO CALIBRATER. The software provides EKO Ultra, EKO Ultra Pro and DPS modes for working with reference FAT/SNF values, analyzer readings and calibration coefficients.

Start with your exact analyzer model and firmware. A similar product name does not confirm that a workflow, sensor or generated file is suitable for your machine.

Prepare reference FAT and SNF values

Keep reference values separate from the analyzer readings you want to correct. Reference FAT/SNF values belong to the milk samples you are using; analyzer readings are the results produced by the instrument for those samples. Entering one in place of the other gives the software the wrong inputs.

Identify the cow or buffalo samples required by the selected workflow. Follow your analyzer instructions and established laboratory procedure for sample preparation and reference testing. This software guide does not set reference values or replace a reference test.

  • Label each sample so its reference values and analyzer readings stay together.
  • Check decimal entries and the selected sample before calculating.
  • Use the 2-sample or 3-sample option required by your calibration workflow.

EKO Ultra and EKO Ultra Pro calibration preparation

Open the calibration workspace after signing in. Select the appropriate mode, enter the reference FAT/SNF values and the corresponding machine readings, then calculate. Review the displayed results and input values together before moving to any download or hardware operation.

The sample selection, available fields and hardware actions depend on the chosen mode. Do not switch between Ultra, Ultra Pro and DPS just to make an error disappear. If you are unsure which mode applies, send the exact model and firmware to support first.

EKO sensor calibration, EKO Bond and iBond workflows

For EKO sensor calibration, identify the sensor and the analyzer it is installed in. A sensor name alone does not establish that the analyzer firmware, connection and calibration data format are compatible with a particular software mode.

EKO CALIBRATER supports EKO Bond and iBond (i Bond) milk analyzer calibration. Before starting, record the exact model label, firmware version if available, sensor details and connection information. Select the matching calibration workflow for that instrument.

Keep the sample reference FAT/SNF values separate from the readings produced by the Bond or iBond analyzer, and pair each set with the same sample identifier. Review the inputs before calculating or using calibration file tools.

If you need help, share the model, selected workflow, sample reference values, corresponding analyzer readings and the exact blocked stage. The downloadable calibration job card below can help organise these details. Do not include passwords or unrelated personal information.

Review coefficients, HEX files and hardware writing separately

A calculated coefficient, a downloaded HEX file and a successful hardware write are different results. A calculation does not by itself update the analyzer. A file download does not confirm that the file has been written to the instrument.

Use only the tools available for the selected mode and the procedure appropriate to that exact device. Before a write, confirm the connected machine, keep the required backup and review the operation shown by the software. Afterward, validate the analyzer using the appropriate reference samples and procedure.

Checks before contacting calibration support

  • No port selected: check the physical connection, adapter and compatible browser requirements for your chosen workflow.
  • Unexpected calculation: recheck the mode, sample selection, decimal entries, reference values and corresponding machine readings.
  • Download unavailable: review the calculation state, active account plan and remaining download allowance.
  • Uncertain file or sensor compatibility: pause the hardware operation and send support the exact analyzer and firmware details.

No port selected: a checklist for a useful support request

Before asking for help, record the exact analyser model, selected software mode, firmware version if known, browser and operating system. Note the adapter or cable being used and the exact message displayed by the software.

Check the physical connection and the connection requirements for that specific workflow. If an adapter is required, check its setup against the adapter and analyser instructions. If the browser presents a device-selection or permission step, record whether it appears and what happens next. Do not assume that every browser, adapter or firmware combination is supported.

Explain which stage is blocked: selecting a port, connecting, reading data or writing data. A port-selection problem and an unexpected calibration calculation are different problems; describe them separately.

Keep reference FAT/SNF values separate from the analyser's readings when including sample information. Remove passwords and unrelated personal details from screenshots. Send the checklist through the EKO CALIBRATER contact page.

Do not change between Ultra, Ultra Pro and DPS solely to bypass a connection error. Confirm the correct workflow for the actual instrument first. EKO Bond and iBond are supported; use their matching workflow and ask support if the required mode or connection is unclear.

What to send for EKO milk calibration support

Send the analyzer model, selected software mode, firmware version if known, sample reference FAT/SNF values, matching instrument readings and a screenshot or exact error message. Explain whether you need help with calculation, HEX generation, connection or writing.

Keep passwords and unrelated personal information out of support screenshots. You can use the contact page for a compatibility enquiry and compare current software plans on the pricing page.
